Oleksandr Kovalenko (Александр Коваленко) is the 2015 Ukraine Monopoly Champion and competed at the 2015 World Championship in Macau in September 2015.

- Oleksandr (27 years old) has been playing MONOPOLY for 15 years, currently owning 3 boards, his favorite being the classic board. He hopes to make all the other contestants bankrupt – to monopolize the entire property market and not let anyone else buy the property on any street. He believes Monopoly is just a game and a lot of the strategy is about luck—the most important element of gameplay in his opinion. His favorite part of playing is that it feels enough like gambling to keep his interest, although it is a board game he does not get bored of playing!
