1984 US Championship

The seventh US MONOPOLY Championship was held November 18 & 19, 1984 in Los Angeles, CA. Jim Forbes won the tournament over a field of state champions plus defending champion Jerome Dausman. His prize included a gold medallion and a trip to the 1985 World Championship.  Parker Brothers also donated $4,962 (a number somehow derived from the total combined property rents) to charities chosen by Forbes.

The first day of events was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel and the final was held on the second day in an art deco restaurant in Union Station.
