The 2004 New Zealand MONOPOLY Championship was won by Andrew Dimock. The tournament was held July 19, 2004 in Auckland. For winning, Andrew got to represent New Zealand at the 2004 World Championship in Tokyo.

Andrew finished the 90-minute championship match with $4,964 worth of assets.Finishing in 2nd place was real estate agent Adrian Sutherland from Tolaga Bay, with $2,804 in assets. 3rd place was Ashley Couper from Christchurch with $2,360 in assets. Finishing in 4th place was Matthew Morris of Martinborough, who went bankrupt 68 minutes into the game. Each of the competitors had either won or come in second place at the New Zealand North Island or South Island Monopoly Championships, which were held earlier in May 2004.[1]
