The sixth MONOPOLY World Championship took place October 17 & 18, 1983 at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida, USA. Greg Jacobs of Australia was the champion. His prize was getting to go on a $10,000 shopping spree after the tournament at a nearby shopping center.

The field included 20 players, including the defending World Champion Cesare Bernabei. The final game was amongst the top five players after preliminary rounds.
